This is a bit faster than most i've seen but i know a lot of the local places offer it to college students during the summer months usually a month and a half monday thru friday, 8hrs a day 14 days of emt school seems a bit quick and i can't speak for said programs but. And whoever saves a life, it is considered as if he saved an entire world. I thought this was amusing if not rediculous. It is my opinion that they would be cranking out nremt's that really didn't know much. I can't imagine you'd retain much of your knowledge for very long after cramming for 2 weeks. That being said, i had the same accelerated class as @ventmonkey, graduated and had my nremt within a month.
